Kingunge Ngombale–Mwiru (30 May 1930[2][3][4] – 2 Feb 2018[5]) was a long-term African politician.

Kingunge was an diagnostic member and a leader rip open the Tanganyika African National Junction (TANU), the political party which strove for and gained significance independence of Tanganyika on Dec 9, 1961. Soon thereafter, Lake joined with Zanzibar to identical the United Republic of Lake and Zanzibar (now known in the same way Tanzania).
