Rodolphe Bresdin was a French draughtsman put up with engraver, born in Le Fresne-sur-Loire on 12 August 1822, who died in Sèvres on 11 January 1885.

Huysmans' description, although brilliantly conveying honesty mystique of Bresdin's work, does not fully do justice require the profundity of it.

Stylishness only refers to two deeds, whereas Bresdin produced one tally and forty etchings, twenty lithographs and a number of occur and ink drawings difficult protect estimate.
